Opportunities for Improvement

While the A.D.S. has a high quality strap, there are some opportunities for improvement in the design.

1. Moving the cam buckle to where the handle is would give you immediate access to the adjustable feature. In a kayak, you'll have to predetermine the length before boarding it because the cam will be up at the bow handle, far from your reach.
2. The cam doesn't hold very well under the load (i.e. standing from a low, seated position in a kayak). I've tied the loose end to the handle to compensate for this. So far, I'm doing OK with more of a fixed length of strap from tying off the loose end.

Great adjustable straps

The straps are strong, the handle is large for comfort, and the adjustability allows use in many boat lengths, plus adjustability for towing.

Great product

Only used it once but it's a helpful tool. Used it to cart my fully loaded kayak to the water no problem. Bought one for the wife's kayak also. Mainly got them for assisting standing and setting.

Whats not to Like?

You have a multipurpose strap that can be used for multiple uses al in one/. Stand assist, launching, towing as well as dragging. All these in one means less clutter on a yak. Thats what is the best thing about this less clutter means more fishing

Best of all they have excellent customer service, fast shipping and great communication. I haven’t gotten to use my strap yet. I have no doubt it’ll be as excellent as the rest of the experience.
